We are Ignition Motor Group, serving the greater Wanganui, Rangitikei, Waimarino, and South Taranaki areas. In 2012 we came under new ownership with Ken Williams. We specialize in new Kia, Mahindra and Peugeot vehicles, as well as a wide range of quality pre-owned vehicles. Located on the corner of Dublin and Saint Hill Streets in Wanganui, our friendly and knowledgeable sales team can assist you in finding the new or used car you’re looking for and arrange transport anywhere in the country. With onsite finance available, you can be assured that you’ll be driving away in your new vehicle in no time.

03 Company History

In 2013 Ken & Jane Williams acquired the business then known as Guthrie Holden & Kia changing the name to Ignition Motor Group Limited whilst retaining the franchises

In 2020 General Motors suspended production and sales of Holden vehicles. To replace the gap this left we acquired the European brand Peugeot.

All our three franchises Kia, Peugeot and Mahindra have an ever increasing range of models from Diesel’s to Electric’s we have a car for everyone.
