We are Ignition Motor Group, covering the greater Wanganui, Rangitikei, Waimarino and South Taranaki areas. In 2012, we came under new ownership with Ken Williams. We specialize in new Holden and Kia vehicles as well as a wide range of quality used vehicles. Located on the corner of Dublin and Saint Hill Streets in Wanganui our friendly, knowledgeable salespeople can help you find the new or used car that you are looking for and arrange its transport anywhere in the country. With onsite finance available, you can be assured that you’ll be driving away in your new Kia, Mahindra, Peugeot – or pre-owned vehicle – in no time.

03 Company History

In 2013 Ken & Jane Williams acquired the business then known as Guthrie Holden & Kia changing the name to Ignition Motor Group Limited whilst retaining the franchises

In 2020 General Motors suspended production and sales of Holden vehicles. To replace the gap this left we acquired the European brand Peugeot.

All our three franchises Kia, Peugeot and Mahindra have an ever increasing range of models from Diesel’s to Electric’s we have a car for everyone.
